These terms govern your use of travelswithhenry.com. By using the site you accept them. If you do not, please stop using it. In these terms, "we" and "our" mean Travels with Henry, run by one person, reachable at henry@travelswithhenry.com.
1. What you may do
Read, listen, link and quote. You are welcome to link to any page here, to quote a passage with attribution, and to share episodes.
2. What we ask you not to do
Please do not republish transcripts, images or audio wholesale, on a website, in an app or as a video, without asking first. Please do not present the writing as your own, use it to train a model, scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for other people, or attempt to break into any part of it.
We usually say yes to reasonable requests, so it is worth asking.
3. Ownership
The stories, transcripts, images, audio and the Henry Hartley character belong to Travels with Henry unless something is marked otherwise. The names, marks and logo of the channel are ours. Nothing here transfers any of that to you.
4. The stories are fiction
Henry Hartley is a fictional narrator. Every place, street, dish and opening time is researched and checked, and the journeys themselves are imagined. Episodes contain AI-assisted narration and imagery, and every page says so.
Nothing on this site is travel, financial, medical or sleep advice. If you have a sleep problem, talk to a doctor rather than to a bedtime story.
5. YouTube
Episodes are hosted on YouTube and embedded here through the privacy enhanced player. Watching them, here or there, is governed by the YouTube Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy.
The software we use to publish to YouTube is an internal tool. It manages only our own channel and our own content, it is not offered to anyone else, and it is described in our privacy policy.
6. Links to other sites
Where we link to somewhere else, we do not control it and we are not responsible for what it contains or does.
7. Availability and changes
We run this site ourselves, on our own hardware. It may be unavailable, and we may change, move or remove pages at any time without notice. We are not liable for anything that follows from the site being down or having changed.
8. No warranty
The site and everything on it is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind. We work to keep it accurate and we cannot promise it always is.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of this site. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of any protection you have under the law of the country you live in.
11. Changes to these terms
When these terms change, this page changes, and the date at the top changes with it.
